Lena Kutzner

Lena Kutzner began her career as a soloist in the girls’ choir in her hometown of Hanover where she received her first musical and vocal training with Prof. Gudrun Schröfel. This was followed by vocal studies in Hannover, and after soloist positions there and in Braunschweig, Kutzner began her engagement at the Landestheater Neustrelitz in 2013. Roles there include Nedda Pagliacci, Angelina La Cenerentola, Suzuki Madama Butterfly, Donna Elvira Don Giovanni, and Hansel Hänsel und Gretel. In 2017 she sang Margarethe in Gounod’s Faust at the Wernigerode Castle Festival and won first prize at the International Singing Competition “Adriana Maliponte” in Milan.  At Staatstheater Meiningen she made her debut as Senta Der fliegende Holländer, Elsa Lohengrin and Elisabeth Tannhäuser, and more recently she made her debut at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein as Senta.
