The Danish soprano Susanne Elmark has for three decades been in great demand in opera houses all over the world.

In high coloratura roles as ZERBINETTA (Ariadne auf Naxos), QUEEN OF THE NIGHT (The Magic Flute), KONSTANZE (The Abduction from the Seraglio), LULU (Lulu), FIAKERMILLI (Arabella), MARIE (Die Soldaten), INANNNA (Widmann’s Babylon), CLAUDIA (Hosokawa’s Stilles Meer), AGNÈS (Written on Skin), CORDELIA (Reimann’s Lear) she has performed at Hamburgische Staatsoper, Berliner Staatsoper, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Bayerische Staatsoper Munich, Gran Teatre del Liceu Barcelona, Teatro Real Madrid, Opernhaus Zürich, in Suntory Hall Tokyo, at Teatro Colón Buenos Aires and many other big opera houses.

Besides the classical opera and concert repertoire Susanne Elmark often performs both oratory and contemporary music and has sung at international festivals including cooperations with Ensemble Modern and Ensemble Intercontemporain, and performed in the Berliner Philharmonie, Philharmonie de Paris and Gewandhaus zu Leipzig.

She has often hosted at different events, symphony orchestra concerts, opera galas, New Year’s concerts and prize awards throughout Denmark.
